Behind the Scenes Senior Portrait - Karli Wise | Emily McGonigle Photography

Hey guys! I've resurfaced from my month-long editing marathon to bring to you a behind the scenes look at Karli Wise's high school senior portraits!

Karli is a senior at Mt. Juliet High School and she hopes to go to college for hospitality and event management. During her pre-shoot consultation, I asked her what she considered her style to be and she told me she likes "anything comfy". So of course, we made sure to photograph one of her favorite outfits with a camouflage hoodie and her leggings!

Since Karli recently moved to Tennessee from New York I thought it might be kind of cool to do some photos with a more urban feel to them. So after Karli's makeover, we hit the streets of Franklin for her portraits!

We even had Karli's sister along for the session. During her pre-shoot consultation, Karli's mother told me about a photo that she wanted to update and replace of Karli and her sister together. I thought it would be a great idea to get both girls in a few photos together. After all, siblings are a huge part of our lives, so why not celebrate your senior year with them?

The whole day was a blast. We got to explore downtown Franklin, while creating really gorgeous photos, and also had a chance to infuse some of Karli's personality and "comfy style" into her images.
