Britt Rogers - Modern Portrait | Emily McGonigle Photography

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing a friend of mine, Britt Rogers. She got in contact with me because she needed some new photos for a promotional website that she's building for her audio engineering business. When she was describing to me what she was wanting to get done, she had mentioned wanting photos that were a little more, "glam" than a standard headshot or portrait, which was perfect... because that's what I enjoy doing most!

When she first arrived, I offered her a glass of wine as we caught up, while I set up some lighting. After that, we went through some wardrobe choices, and I gave her the rundown of what my plan was for the evening, and then we got started!

It was a lot of fun! We listened to some of her favorite rap and hip hop artists, danced around the studio, and made some gorgeous photos.
