Portrait Sessions
I believe that portraits are more than just pretty pictures of an individual. Portraits can be used to celebrate an important life milestone, a relationship, or simply serve to improve one's self-image. Whatever your story is, I want to know it, and then I want to help you create images that bring the essence of who you are to life.
I myself love fashion and commercial style photography. My goal is to bring that level and quality of work to my portrait clients while customizing each session to be built around their personality, style, and vision for their shoot. But having your portraits done with Emily McGonigle Photography isn't just about having great portraits made, it's about the entire experience.
The Pre-Shoot Consultation
As part of the experience, I prefer to meet my clients for a pre-shoot consultation, prior to booking their shoot.
At your pre-shoot consultation, we will get to know each other. I want your session to reflect who you are stylistically and personally, so we’ll spend a large amount of time talking about you and what you like. We’ll also spend time talking about what you envision for your session so that you and I can start working together towards creating a session that is uniquely you!
This is a great time for us just to hang out and chat before we actually get together to shoot. Of course I’ll also go over what else you can expect from your session at this meeting, as well as full product pricing, and we’ll sign your booking contract.
The Day of the Session
Whether you're having your session done in my studio, or on-location, you’ll be pampered by one of my talented, professional hair and makeup artists right before your session. We'll put on a music station based on your favorite artist and hang out, while you relax and get your makeover.
After that, we'll head into the studio or to our first location and create some stunning images for a few hours! Your session is meant to be fun and relaxed, so there’s no need to stress out about posing. I’ll be guiding you every step of the way, to help you look your best in your photos!
The Image Premier and Ordering Session
After your session, I will get to work fully retouching your final images. My turn around time is typically 4-6 weeks. I like to show my clients finished images, rather than un-edited proofs, so that they know what the end result of what they’re purchasing will look like.
When I’m nearly finished editing your images, we will schedule a time to meet for your Image Premier and Ordering Session. During this session, you will get to see your images for the first time and you’ll pick out which images you would like to put into your album, image box, or which you'd like to have printed as wall art.
Pricing
Sessions start at $400 and include a pre-shoot consultation, complimentary makeup and hair styling, a 2 hour photo session, and an Image Premier and Ordering Session. All images, prints, and products are purchased separately.
Session Wardrobe Stylist Add-On starts at $150 and goes up according to number of outfits.
Photo Albums with High Resolution USB Key start at $1365 and go up according to size.
Custom Couture Album & High Res USB start at $1500 and go up according to size
Custom Image Box & High Res USB start at $1225 and go up according to print quantity
Wall Canvases start at $460 and go up according to size.
Individual Mounted Gift Prints start at $60.
Methods of payment accepted include: Cash, Checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
