Behind the Scenes Senior Portrait - Sam Picha | Emily McGonigle Photography
It's been a while since I posted a blog post. This October has been, without a doubt, the busiest I have ever been in my entire life, haha. But I'm certainly not complaining. I'm just saying that I haven't had a whole lot of time to devote to blogging.
BUT... I did want to post a few BTS images from the very suave, Sam Picha's senior portrait session, as well as a sneak peek image!
Sam is a senior at Independence High School. He swims, plays lacrosse, and is interested in joining the Navy after high school.
On the day of Sam's session, he and his mother, Ruth, met Ashley and I at the studio to get his hair and makeup done. Yes, even my male seniors get a makeover! It is, of course, a little different than what we give the ladies, but like any male rockstar, actor, or model, my guy seniors have some light makeup put on to help achieve a more finished look to their final images.
And of course, I made sure to make sure we had Sam's favorite snack and drink available for him, during his session with Ashley.
For Sam's session, we got to explore parts of Franklin I hadn't really been to yet, so that was a lot of fun.
There were actually a lot more cool textures and locations that I was expecting for the little town of Franklin, Tennessee, haha. For example, the spot that we found for this image:
Look at him! Isn't he handsome?! Don't forget to leave Sam some love below. :)
Special thanks to Ashley Stevens, for doing a fabulous job, as always, on Sam's hair and makeup. And also, thank you to Matthew Simmons for his help on Sam's shoot!
