Senior Portrait - Michael Gabhart | Emily McGonigle Photography

Hey everyone! I'm back with another installment of senior portraiture! A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of working again with a past client to photograph her son's senior portraits. I met Lisa Gabhart two years ago when she hired me to photograph Emily Gabhart's senior portraits. We had so much fun that she came back with her son Michael this year!

A lot of people often ask me what happens with the complimentary hair and makeup I provide for my clients, when I'm photographing a male senior, and the answer is: We do their hair and makeup! Haha. It's definitely a little different for the boys than it is for the girls though. So if you're curious, you should check out the BTS post for Michael's shoot.

I had such a hard time culling images for Michael. He KILLED his shoot! He's hilariously charismatic and super handsome as you can see for yourself. ;)

Michael is currently a senior at Independence High School. He's a musician, with an interest in going to college for music composition. Michael is also one of my 2015 Senior Models!

During our pre-shoot consultation, Michael told me that he was really into nature and greenery, and he wanted his senior portraits to reflect that. So we did his session on a cool abandoned lot, with an awesome vine-coverd wall and a pretty open field.

Michael's shoot was incredibly fun. We listened to some awesome music, witty remarks were made, and the weather was perfect.
