Behind the Scenes Senior Portrait - Elon Perry-Stiner | Emily McGonigle Photography

Hey guys! I'm taking another break from my editing marathon to bring you a behind the scenes look at Elon Perry-Stiner's Senior Portrait session! Woot!

Elon is another one of my 2016 Senior Models (you may recall her model shoot from a while back). For her senior portrait session she told me that she wanted gardens and something a little more grandiose. And what's more grandiose than Centennial park with the Parthenon and the garden area around the way? So that's where we did Elon's session!

We started off the day at Fresh Salon where the lovely Katie Vellman did Elon's hair and makeup.

I just wanna take this time to mention that I'm really sad, because Katie is moving to Seattle. I'm really going to miss working with her, because she's super awesome and fabulous at what she does. This was my last shoot working with her, and while I gave her a hard time about leaving the entire time we were together, I really do wish her the best in her new adventure!

Anyway, after we were done at the salon, we traveled to Centennial park to start shooting. We started at the Parthenon and made our way down to the gardens, stopping along the way at various spots we found interesting or pretty.

At one point we stopped on a bridge and an older gentlemen seemed to be waiting for us to finish shooting to cross. We let him know that it was okay to go and that he didn't have to wait on us and he responded with, "It's okay. I'm actually enjoying watching the process. I've never seen a photoshoot done before." He then turned to Elon's mother and said to her, "You have a beautiful young lady there!".

It was such a pleasure getting to work with Elon and her mother again. I can't wait to show you all the beautiful images we created together! But for now, here's a sneak peek of the very gorgeous Elon!!
